Qing Zhu grew up in New York City and then attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he obtained a dual Bachelor of Science in applied physics and mathematics in Spring 2021. His undergraduate research focuses on computational work across various disciplines, such as materials science and plasma fusion. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Computational Science, Engineering, and Mathematics at The University of Texas at Austin since Fall 2021. His research interest primarily lies within scientific computing and data science.
